Lancaster Total Age Correction

Probably you are familiar with sunscreen to protect your skin from sun damage caused by UVA and UVB rays. There is another type of ray that needs our attention: infrared.

Infrared rays

Buy the Leading Instant Eye LiftInfrared rays are not only produced by the sun, but also hairdryers and other sources of heat. Similar to UV rays, there are three kinds of infrared rays: IFA, IFB and IFC. More than 30% of the solar energy that reaches our planet (and our skin) is infrared. IFA rays penetrate deeper in the skin than UV, causing sun damage and thus aging of the skin. IFA rays damage the skin cells by generating free radicals, increases pigment production, the risk of skin inflammation, formation of fine lines and wrinkles.

Protect yourself against infrared rays

Topical antioxidants help to shield the skin. Most traditional sunscreens do not protect the skin from any type of infrared rays. Lancaster developed special infrared products which protects the skin up to 98% against sun-damage. This technology is also used in their new skin care range called Total Age Correction and Sun Sport with a special product line for skiing, men and children. A product that has been tested and proven to protect against IFA is Skinceuticals C-E-Ferulic (which retails for about $153.00).
